  • Acolytes
    For boys and girls in the 5th grade and older. Training sessions are held each year. Contact James Hall, head verger and master of the acolytes:
  • Altar Guild
    The Altar Guild serves God and the parish with faithful and dedicated care of the altar. Presently we have twenty-seven members. Our guild is made up of four teams. Each team serves one week each month. The teams rotate yearly caring for the fifth week.

  • St. John's Choir
    A traditional choir for young adults and adults with rehearsals on Sundays after the 10:30 a.m. service, until 1 p.m. Volunteers are always welcome. Contact Kathy Heim, music director and choirmaster:

  • Christian Education
    Christian Education meets at 9 a.m. Sundays
    Director: Kim Carter
    Teachers: Doug & Kirsten Carr, Chris Hurdley, Susan Snyder, Mike & Wendy Garbrandt, Fr. Pursley

  • Daughters of the King
    The Order of the Daughters of the King was founded in 1885 with the goal of joining Episcopal women together, that as individuals and as a group they might lead Godly lives devoted to prayer and service. Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. See Beck Babcock for information.

  • Eagle & Lamb
    Our monthly newsletter is edited by Jean Hammer. The Eagle signifies St. John the Divine and the Lamb signifies John the Baptist.

  • Evangelism & Renewal Committee
    Evangelism is the presentation of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, in such ways that persons may be led to believe in Him as Savior and follow Him as Lord within the fellowship of the Church. We meet on the second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. in the undercroft.

  • Lay Readers and Lectors
    If you would like to serve the Lord in this ministry, please contact the rector.

  • Mission Committee
    The Mission/Outreach Committee endeavors to spend their budget allocation in a thoughtful and responsible manner. They agreed to support local organizations, youth outreach programs, clergy/seminaries, and our missionaries abroad. Members are Susan Snyder, Jim Merton, Ivan Smith, and Gail Porter.

  • Parish Health Ministries
    The purpose: To help provide resources to promote good health and wholeness of each of us.

  • Pastoral Care Committee
    The objective of the pastoral care committee is to offer services to our parish members, including: food for a family during a birth, illness, or death in the family; house-sitting (during a funeral); emergency baby-sitting, running errands, shopping, and transportation. Members are Judi Miller and Jean Hammer.

  • Verger
    We have 12 chalice bearers, 16 lectors, 16 ushers, and 10 acolytes. Anyone who feels called to these ministries, please Contact James Hall, head verger,

  • Vestry and Wardens
    Peggy Merton is senior warden and Mark Perrine is junior warden. The wardens, members of the vestry, and convention delegates are elected at the annual parish meeting in January. Vestry members are:
